She was probably deceased before Dec. 7, 1762,
as the children then had guardians appointed for
them in her place.

yes -- mine is Joseph 1852 - 1914 / his son Eugene 1872 - 1953 / dtr Orilla 1894 - you would NOT find them -- they changed the BEAUREGARD to BAKER for 30+ yrs -- whether initially because there already WAS another Joseph Beauregard with a wife named Harilla IN Grafton (where they were since 1880) or whether,as my grandmother said, 'it was something strange' (ie the Faneuf (Phaneuff) story)
Do you have access to census data ? I didn't follow Peter's line, although he was born 1-2-1881, so he wouldn't have shown up on the 1880 census, and there IS no 1890, SO ....
but I have them in the 1900 census, in Rochdale, part of town of Northbridge, MA, right down the road from where the'core' family grew up, in Saundersville section of Grafton, MA --first Baker is my great-gr-fr Eugene and my gr-mother Orilla family, further down is brother George & wife, then Orilla b.1844 & her children that were still home. Peter was 19, but the mill opportunity down at the bottom of the hill was not one to pass up ... Since you're not someone who is 'just looking to fill in his database',
I'll tell you what I know, but though theories abound, I have yet to feel good about anything that comes across this computer about Joseph's parents.
How is it that you have 1852 as a birthdate for Joseph (Baker) Beauregard? ?
Jeanne
PS interested in other names in your tree -- do you have it in text?
Another gr-grmo is Amanda HOPPE - 18?60 - 1930+ --
You have a Richards, Adelphise abt 1860 -- my grfr Eugene Baker Beauregard married RosAnne Richards b 1860, and I don't know all her siblings -- was she from Grafton, MA ? ? ?
That's enough for now

Hi Jeanne,

They are my son?s great, great, great grandparents (my ex-wife?s maiden name is Beauregard). I have pretty much given up hope on finding anything on these people. Do you have any information?

My son?s tree: http://www.tedottconsulting.com/home/genealogy/Connors%20Ancestors.pdf

Thanks

you had posted this in 1999 -- I am sure you found something out by now, but if they are in central Mass, I know of them..

How are you related ? ? Jeanne P

I am looking for ancestors of Joeseph Beauregard b. 1852, father of Adeline, Peter(Pierre), George, Frank, Alfred, Mary, Eugene, Arthur. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
